Creative experience

An agency background

Although I have been freelancing for many years, my formative experience was gained in agencies, where I developed the design processes and standards required to deliver excellence for major brands.

Design practice

Working directly with clients as a freelancer means I often collaborate with small and medium-sized brands looking for a refresh or brand evolution. The nature of these projects tends to allow for far greater design flexibility and experimentation.

Sketching & visual thinking

Sketching and illustration, using both pencil and brush, are integral to my creative skillset and something I genuinely enjoy.

Technical Capabilities

Having worked with HTML, WordPress and CSS, as well as repointing domains and building websites, I am comfortable with the technical side of digital design. I also recognise the importance of automation tools and the use of AI to troubleshoot and resolve some tech issues.
